Short clamping jaws 75°
Through the undercut at the jaws, the workpiece is held securely during machining. Only 3 mm clamping depth are necessary. Material Steel Finish Hardened, grinded Scope of delivery 2 Short clamping jaws 75° Note Form cutters to prepare your workpieces are available on request. Working steps 1. Sawing raw materia 2. Machining dovetail contour 3. Clamping raw material
Grip jaws
For form fit clamping of raw material. The hardened surface of the grip jaws deforms the workpiece surface during the clamping process and thus increases the holding force of the clamping location. The applied coating protects the grip jaws from premature wear. Material Special tool steel Finish Hardened, coated Scope of delivery 2 Grip jaws Practical advice Best results with workpieces up to 1100 N/mm 2 material strength.
Clamping jaws, soft
The soft clamping jaws can be machined and fitted on the workpiece. Material Steel (16MnCr5) * Steel, rust-resistant Finish Soft, pre-machined Scope of delivery 2 Clamping jaws, soft Note Aluminum, plastic or brass version available on request.
Step jaws, rough with coating
For form fit clamping of high-strength raw material. The hardened surface of the clamping jaws deforms the workpiece surface during the clamping process and thus increases the holding force of the clamping location. The applied coating protects the grip jaws from premature wear. Material Steel Finish Hardened, coated Scope of delivery 2 Step jaws, rough with coating Practical advice Best results with workpieces with more than 1100 N/mm2 material strength and sturdy material surface.
Step jaws with carbide coating
The hardened, ground and then carbide coated step jaws are used for clamping of ground finished parts or in the second set-up. High holding force through increased friction factor. The workpiece surface will not be damaged. Material Steel Finish Hardened, carbide coated Scope of delivery 2 Step jaws with carbide coating Practical advice Best results with workpieces in mold and die production. 1,5 – 2,0 times higher friction factor or holding force than smooth clamping surfaces.
Pull-down pendulum jaws
The pendulum jaws allow raw material clamping of cast, molded as well as unparallel sawed workpieces. With the pull-down pendulum jaws, angular misalignments of several millimetres can be rectified. The clamping surfaces are rough serrated. Material Steel Finish Hardened, grinded Scope of delivery 1 Pull-down pendulum jaw 1 Fixed jaw 2 Support rails
Top jaws MZE
For use together with all standard jaws type MZE as well as customer designed jaws. The top jaws allow the use of short cuting tools especially with small workpieces. Material Steel Finish Hardened, grinded Scope of delivery 2 Top jaws MZE
Top jaws MZS
For changing a centre-clamping vise type A into type B. Material Steel Finish Hardened, grinded Scope of delivery 2 Top jaws MZS
Stepped grip jaws
For form fit clamping of raw material. The hardened surface of the grip jaws deforms the workpiece surface during the clamping process and thus increases the holding force of the clamping location. Material Special tool steel Finish Hardened Scope of delivery 2 Stepped grip jaws Practical advice The stepped grip jaws are especially suitable for large clamping width. Best results with workpieces up to 1100 N/mm2 material strength and sturdy material surface.
Stepped jaws Type 1
One-piece jaw, inward stepped. Material Steel Finish Hardened, grinded Scope of delivery 3 Stepped jaws
Stepped jaws Type 2
One-piece jaw, outward stepped. Material Steel Finish Hardened, grinded Scope of delivery 3 Stepped jaws
Soft unstepped jaws
One-piece jaw, soft. Material Steel Finish Soft Scope of delivery 3 Soft unstepped jaws
Soft block jaws
The soft block jaws can be machined or fitted on the workpiece respectively. Material Steel (16MnCr5) Finish Soft, pre-machined Scope of delivery 2 Soft block jaws Note Aluminum, plastic or brass version available on request.
Reversible stepped jaws
Universal stepped jaws reversible, with three ground clamping stages and threaded mounting hole for fixed stop. The hardened and ground jaws are used for clamping of finished parts or in the second setup. Material Steel Finish Hardened, grinded Scope of delivery 2 Reversible stepped jaws
Reversible stepped jaws with carbide grip inserts
For form fit clamping of raw material. The carbide grip-inserts of the clamping jaws deform the workpiece surface during the clamping process and thus increases the holding force of the clamping location. The grip inserts can be replaced, if necessary. Material Steel, carbide (grip inserts) Finish Hardened, grinded Scope of delivery 2 Reversible stepped jaws with carbide grip inserts Practical advice Best results with workpieces with more than 1100 N/mm2 material strength and sturdy material surface.
