Mechanical manual chuck MK
Manual chuck for powerful clamping of
pre-machined workpieces and raw material.
The workpiece shape can be customized
machined into the collet of high-strength
aluminium.
The clamping force occurs equally on all
sides and thus is particularly suitable for
thin workpieces. The clamping force can be
adjusted by using a torque wrench. Thanks to
the simple collet replacement, various workpieces can be quickly and safely clamped for
5-sided machining.
The mechanism in the main body is protected
against dirt and coolant. Flanged base for
fastening to the machine table. Bottom side
with hole for mechanical zero-point-system
ZPS and grooves for positioning.

Required clamping force
The clamping force of the pneumatic and hydraulic centre-clamping vises and compact vises depends on the operating
pressure. A clamping force regulation is linear through pressure
change. The operating pressure to be set depends on influencing variables for example workpiece geometry, version of
clamping jaws, work material, work conditions and so on. Due
to the above mentioned variables it can be necessary to
adjust the torque value individually.
Practical advice
All clamping jaw types of the centre-clamping vise series PZS2
can be used on the compact vise PS. The clamping jaw connection is 100 % compatible.

Multiple clamping systems MMS
The mechanical multiple clamping system
allows positioning and clamping of one, two
or more workpieces at the same time. By
using a number of clamping systems in a
longitudinal and diagonal direction the work
area of the CNC-machine can be used more
efficiently. The compact construction allows
an economic application on palletizing and
automation systems.
The clamping of the workpieces is done
mechanically by means of operating key. The
two clamping jaws of the wedge element
slide outwards or are returned to their original
position when loosening the clamping screw.
The two jaws can be universally mounted on
the clamping rail.
Strong Points
Clamping of one or two workpieces
against fixed stop
Modular combinable
Clamping jaws with pull-down effect

Collets MK
The collet are fastened to the main element
by just one centrically applied screw, and can
be therefore quickly replaced. The workpiece
contour is milled into the collets with a minimum clamping depth of 2 mm. Because the
clamping force is evenly applied to the component in a radial direction, the workpiece is
clamped without distortion. The collets can
be milled off up to height H1, allowing new
workpiece contours to be inserted.
